Cambridge Main Street is a community organization whose vision is an historic and vibrant downtown district with an abundance of visitor activity, embraced by preserved architectural integrity. Our mission is to capture the soul and talent of Cambridge and deliver energetic, fresh, quirky, and unique experiences that attract individuals to our historic downtown.
Evidence of the work towards our mission are events like the Chocolate Walk, Dickens Victorian Village, Classic Cruise-In Car Show, the Bike Show and Rib Fest, and the Farmer's Market held on the Courthouse square. Cambridge is one of the few communities holding a fabulous holiday parade each year the Saturday night after Thanksgiving. We also host Friday night Wine Downs at Georgetown Vineyard where the views of the city of Cambridge are spectacular! We strive to provide everything but the ordinary!
Arts and Fine Crafts are abundant in Cambridge. The National Glass Museum and Historical Society Museum offer glimpses of Cambridge's rich past. Mosser and Boyd glass productions continue today as part of that legacy. The Antique and Craft stores are abundant, as well as a stellar Art Guild storefront.
Cambridge Main Street exists because of donations and involvement from community organizations and individuals. Join Main Street today and help us realize the Vision and Mission of the historic core of the community, a reflecftion of community image, pride, and prosperity. And be sure to visit our website by selecting "website" at the top of this page. When there, you'll find a schedule of those quirky events we've got planned!
